The 3M™ Aqua-Pure® Water Filter Cartridge AP810-2 is a standard 4.5" diameter drop-in cartridge designed to enhance the performance of whole-house water filtration systems. This cartridge is manufacturer-tested and verified to reduce sediment down to 5 microns nominal, providing cleaner drinking water for households.

The rigid polypropylene fiber construction of the AP810-2 helps capture and retain sediment from the water, preventing the release of particles that can occur due to system flow upsets. The grooved surface of the cartridge increases the total surface area, resulting in a longer cartridge life compared to 3M's non-grooved surface cartridges.

With a flow rate of up to 45 gallons/170 liters per minute, the AP810-2 is an ideal choice for larger homes with at least 2.5 bathrooms. The cartridge operates within a temperature range of 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C) and water pressures from 25-100psi (172-690 kPa), making it compatible with a wide range of whole-house water filtration systems.

To maintain optimal system performance and efficiency, regular maintenance, including the replacement of the cartridge every 6 months or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs, is recommended. The filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality.

The 3M™ Aqua-Pure® Water Filter Cartridge AP810-2 employs 3M's exclusive Micro-Klean™ XL progressive porosity technology, which forces water through pores that become increasingly tighter, effectively filtering smaller and smaller microscopic particles. This unique process allows the cartridge to reduce sediment while providing a high flow rate.

The cartridge is designed for use with 3M Aqua-Pure 800 Series Whole House Water Filter Housings, as well as most competitive 4.5" diameter x 20" length drop-in whole-house water filter housings. It is compatible with the Aqua-Pure AP802 and Aqua-Pure AP802-1.5C Water Filter Systems.
