KleenWater KW810 Replacement Water Filter, Set of 4

This convenient package includes (4) KleenWater KW810 grooved cartridges and (2) KW101 o-rings. The cartridges are 4.5" (W) X 9.75" (L) and are rated for 5 micron sediment entrapment. The raised groove designed has a very impressive surface area which prolongs the service life of the cartridge. These cartridges are compatible with Whirlpool Water Filter WHKF-DWHBB. The KW810 cartridge is also compatible with Whirlpool Model WHKF-WHPLBB and Filtrete Model 4WH-HDGR-F01.

The o-rings are constructed of nitrile Buna rubber and compatible with Whirlpool Model WHKF-DWHBB and GE models GXWH30C GXWH35F GXWH40. Please note that this cartridge does not have the plastic end caps. The end caps are decorative and are not integral to the cartridge performance.

Occasionally, there are concerns that these filters without the end caps will not be a compatible replacement for the more expensive filters with end caps and gaskets. However, the installation process is very simple. The cartridge is made of polypropylene, which is slightly pliable. When the filter sump is screwed to the filter head, the cartridge gets squeezed, and the sharp circular rings located on the bottom of the water filter sump and the underside of the filter head create a circular crease on the bottom and top of the cartridge, forming a very effective seal.

If you want to make the installation even more straightforward, you can soak the filter in slightly hot water for 10 minutes prior to installation. This will slightly soften the cartridge, making it even easier to install.

Replace the cartridge every 6 months or upon substantial pressure reduction. This 4 cartridge set replaces the former 3 cartridge models: KW810(3)-KW101(1) and KW810-Qty3-KW101-Qty1.
